Lakeland slate fireplace.
For relaxing after a day of exploring there is a colour
TV, DVD, video player and a CD/radio/cassette player with a selection of
Videos, DVDs and CDs. |
| The bookcase contains several Lake District
interest/guide books as well as a good selection of novels and
children's books. |

is a separate dining room with pine furniture and a welsh
dresser. The dresser contains a good selection of family games
and jigsaws. |

the dining room and kitchen windows and from the rear patio there are uninterrupted views across to St
Johns in the Vale and the surrounding hills. |

The
kitchen is fully equipped including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, waste disposal and
dishwasher. The
kitchen has a range of fully fitted units with plenty of
storage space and off the kitchen is an additional larder room
with plenty of shelf space.
Even when you are at the kitchen sink the view is
superb.

| Downstairs is a separate toilet and a large utility/drying
room, for the occasional wet day, with washing machine and a
dryer.

main bedroom has pine furnishings with a double bed, dressing
table and large
fitted wardrobes.

bedroom again has a superb view, just what you need when you
wake up in the morning.

second bedroom, once the girl’s classroom, has twin beds, a
washbasin, dressing table and a large fitted wardrobe.
The
third bedroom has a double bed, and pine wardrobe and dressing
table.

The
large bathroom has a toilet, sink and thermostatically
controlled shower over the bath.
The
cottage has oil central heating and double-glazing.
There is off the road parking for two cars as a well
as a garage. At
the front of the cottage is a garden and at the back a patio
with garden furniture and superb views across open fields
towards the fells and mountains.
Please note the stairs are quite steep
and so elderly guests and those with small children may want
to discuss the suitability with us prior to booking.

We
accept well behaved pets by arrangement.
The front garden and rear patio are fully enclosed and we
have a large utility room with a tiled floor and a sink
which is ideal for washing your dog after a good walk.
The cottage is no smoking.
All
Heating, electric, bedding linen is included.
Towels can be hired on request for a small charge.
